Catalogue text The attack on Victoria Terasse on New Year's Eve in 1944 was one of the most destructive to befall Norway during the war, and possibly the most unsuccessful strike by the British in the entire war. 79 Norwegian civilians were killed in the action. Nevertheless, the event is little discussed, and the role of the resistance has never really been known. This is a dramatic and gripping account of an event from the Second World War that is still somewhat shrouded in mystery.
